Platinum End

Mirai Kakehashi lost his parents and little brother in a car explosion. His aunt and uncle took him in, and that turned out to be a prison. They beat him, starved him, worked him like a servant. So one day he climbed to the roof and stepped off. He expected it to be over. Instead he wakes up hovering in the air, face to face with a cheerful winged girl named Nasse who says she is his guardian angel. She hands him two gifts: wings to fly and a white arrow that makes anyone fall hopelessly in love with him. Sounds like a dream, right? Not quite. Nasse has a catch. To keep this happiness, Mirai has to become God. Standing in his way are twelve other candidates, and only one of them gets the throne. Now the boy who wanted to die is fighting for his life with everything he has. But what happens when the person who has nothing suddenly has something to lose?
