Episode 12 · Phantom in the Twilight

Phantom in the Twilight

An eighteen year old girl named Bailu Tong leaves her tiny hometown behind and moves to London, the city she has dreamed about for years. University, a fresh start, all of it. Then she walks into something strange on her very first day. The streets of London are not just streets. Shadows drift through them, creatures born out of human fear and prejudice, and most people never notice a thing. Alone in a huge foreign city with nobody to call, Bailu stumbles into a place called Café Forbidden. It only opens at midnight. Inside, a group of handsome men work behind the counter, and they are not waiters at all. They guard the border between the human world and the world of shadows, and somehow Bailu has walked right into the middle of it. Now she is tangled up with these guardians and the things they hunt, in a city that hides more than it shows. Why did the café let her in, and what do the shadows want with a girl who just arrived?
