OZ
A stray nuke goes off on October 15, 1990, and forty minutes later the world is rubble. What survives is worse: six squabbling states where the old USA used to be, borders drawn in blood, everyone fighting over scraps like it is the Middle Ages again. Then a rumor starts spreading. Somewhere out there is OZ, a city built by scientists before the war, where the lights still work and nobody goes hungry. Felicia, a researcher, hires a mercenary named Muto to take her there. She is chasing a brother who vanished, and a cyborg tagged along, sent by that same brother. Sounds like a family reunion, right? They push through wasteland and war zones chasing a fairy tale. What waits at the end is not a city of wonder. It is a military base, and a man who is very smart and very far gone. So what exactly was her brother building out there, and why did he want her to see it?
