Habahiro Hige is a grown man with a grown man's job and one weakness: Tabekko Marshmallows. He keeps a stash at his desk, he knows every convenience store that stocks them, and he is completely defenseless when his coworker Iori Wakabayashi waves a bag in his face. She is twenty four. She eats them slowly right in front of him. She buys out the entire shelf before he gets there. She has even gotten him scolded by the boss, and he still has no idea why she does it. Here is the thing he has not figured out. Iori is not teasing him for fun. She likes him. She likes the soft, round shape of him, she likes how easy he is to fluster, and she has decided that the fastest route to his heart runs straight through his stomach. Her friends do not get it. She does not care. Every day she shows up with another bag and another excuse to be near him. He chases the marshmallows. She waits for him to chase her instead. So how many bags will it take before this man looks up from the snack aisle and finally sees what has been standing in front of him the whole time?
