Nanaka Kirisato has her life mapped out. She studies hard, keeps her grades up, and cannot stand watching her best friend Nenji waste his days brawling with every guy who looks at him wrong. She tells him so, often. Then they have one of their fights, the really loud kind, and she takes a bad fall down a flight of stairs. When she wakes up, her mind is six years old again, and the seventeen-year-old honors student is gone. Now her father and Nenji have to pretend nothing happened. No doctor's note, no explanations, just a teenage girl asking why everyone talks to her like she is a grown-up and why the boy she keeps calling a big dummy looks so tired all the time. Nenji, who never took anything seriously, suddenly has to watch every word he says around her. He still fights. He still acts like a kid. But keeping Nanaka's secret means lying to teachers, to friends, to anyone who might notice the second grader living inside a high schooler's body. How long can two people hold a secret like that before it breaks, and what happens to Nanaka when she finally finds out who she used to be?
