A year has passed since the fighting stopped. Arika wears the uniform for real now, a full Otome at last, though Miss Maria still watches her every move like a hawk. Nagi sits in a cell somewhere in Aries, the nations are talking peace, and everyone is getting ready for S.O.L.T., the big meeting where they plan to cut down how many Otome exist. Then a meteor heads straight for Earl. A simple smash-and-run job, right? Except the mission wakes something up. A shadowy figure walks into Garderobe and starts tearing through Otome. Across the planet, a nastier version of Slave shows its face. And Mashiro? Gone. Vanished after a shouting match with Arika, no note, no trace. Now Arika is hunting for her queen while Garderobe scrambles to figure out who or what is behind the shadow. Old friendships are strained, new monsters are loose, and the peace talks might not survive the week. Who is the figure in the dark, and why does it seem to know Garderobe from the inside?
