An ancient continent called Mu disappeared so long ago that most people file it away with fairy tales. But some of its leftovers never really died. They linger as UMAs, unidentified lifeforms straight out of legend, and now they are climbing inside human bodies to hunt for the ooparts, Mu's lost treasures. Get enough of those and the old civilization comes back. Subaru and War-Rock keep running into enemies that make no sense, and that is how they cross paths with Doctor Orihime. She hands them a job: track down the ooparts before the UMAs do. It sounds simple until the relics start working for Rockman too, flipping him into new shapes like Thunder Berserk, Fire Dinosaur, and Green Shinobi. Every fight is a race, and both sides want the same prize. So what happens when the thing you are chasing is also the thing that makes you stronger?
