Punie is next in line for the throne of Magical Land, but first she has to survive a whole year in a Japanese high school. No crown until she finishes her training on Earth. She brings along Paya-tan, her animal mascot, who tries to kill her on a fairly regular schedule. He is still upset about losing a fight to her and getting dragged out of Waku Waku Mascot Village by force. Here is the thing. Punie acts sweet. Soft voice, polite smile, the whole routine. Then somebody ticks her off. Out comes the magic stick, and she cheerfully turns the offender into a bloody mess. No stick handy? Fine. She switches to wrestling holds she calls Submission and starts snapping joints. Her subjects back home keep sending assassins, each with their own grudge, and her own mascot wants her dead too. She has a strange talent for controlling vegetables and a solid arsenal of grappling moves. That is what stands between her and everyone lining up to end her. Can a girl who breaks bones with a smile really make it through a year of school without failing her training?
