A month after getting kicked out of the Cosmopolitan Philharmonic, Haruo Hibiki still has no job. Then Kawagoe Private Academy offers him one: teach music. The catch comes fast. Build a boys' choir, win the yearly competition, and he gets his old podium back. Fail, and he stays stuck in a classroom. So this famous conductor starts hunting for voices. He storms through hallways, corners random students, listens to them sing. Most of them run the other way. His people skills are, to put it mildly, terrible, and he manages to annoy nearly everyone he meets. One of those he corners is Tenshi Dei, a kid who genuinely loves to sing. He just freezes completely whenever anyone is watching. Now Haruo has a year, a handful of reluctant boys, and zero clue how to actually talk to teenagers. Can a man who drives everyone crazy really teach a choir to sing together, or will the whole thing fall apart before they ever reach the stage?
