The graduation show went off without a hitch, and now Yuuta Hoshitani and the other second years are diving straight into prep for the Ayanagi Festival. No Kao Council mentors this time. For the first time, the whole thing is theirs to shape however they want. So they land on one idea: a joint production. All of them, one stage. The opening ceremony will double as the moment next year's Kao Council candidates get named. Then the announcement drops. Team Hiiragi gets picked for the opening ceremony, which means they are out of the group project. Just like that. Hoshitani and the rest are stunned, then furious, and the gap between the students and the Kao Council turns into something sharp and real. Nobody is backing down. So they start scheming. Quietly, stubbornly, dead set on finding a way to get every single second year onstage together. But the Council already made its call, and a plan whispered behind closed doors has a way of reaching the wrong ears. Can they really pull off a performance that the people in charge have already forbidden?
