Kakushigoto
A single dad, a manga artist, draws raunchy comics for a living. The moment his daughter Hime was born, he swore she would never find out. So every morning he puts on a suit and pretends to leave for an office job. He rehearses emergency drills in case she ever wanders into his studio. He has built an entire second life out of lies, all to keep one little girl from seeing what her father really does for money. It gets messy. It gets ridiculous. Then there is the other thing, the part he never planned for. His manga is not even that popular anymore. Readers have moved on, sales have slipped, and yet the hiding never stops. If anything, the less successful he becomes, the harder he works to keep the act going, because the secret itself has become the whole point. Hime is ten now. She is curious. She notices things. The two of them live side by side, cooking, laughing, getting through ordinary days, while he quietly panics behind her back. Every close call, every almost discovery, pushes him further into his own web. But time has a way of pulling secrets into the light, and she is growing up fast. What happens when the person Hime trusts most turns out to be someone she never actually knew?
