Kaiji: Against All Rules
Kaiji Itou owes nine and a half million yen, and his fingers are barely back on his hands when the debt comes knocking again. Then he spots Yuuji Endou crossing the street, the same man who once opened the door to high stakes gambling for him. Kaiji climbs into his car without a second thought, grinning like his luck finally turned. The drug hits fast. He wakes up underground, in a labor camp run by the Teiai Group, where the sentence is fifteen years of digging rock unless he pays his way out. One day on the surface is all he gets if he saves enough, and one day is all he needs to win the rest. But down here every yen is a fight, and the men around him have their own plans for his money. So what happens when a gambler with nothing left decides the only way out is one more bet?
