Kon Hokaze is just logging into his MMORPG when a cute girl character sends him a message. He figures his luck has finally turned. Then the screen blinks, the floor drops out, and he lands in a strange land called Mirroar, right on top of some thug who was about to stab a princess. His weapon of choice in this rescue? The swivel chair he was sitting on. Now he is stuck in a place that runs on a mysterious force called Alma, with no clue how to get home. Princess Ekarat takes him in as one of her guards, mostly because he has nowhere else to go. But her own country's military faction wants her captured before she can go through with an arranged marriage, and Kon keeps getting dragged into the middle of it. He did not ask for any of this. He just wanted a girlfriend. So what happens when a guy who only knows video games has to protect a princess from her own army?
