The only soccer field on a small island off the coast gets torn apart in front of the kids who play there every day. They try to stop it. They fail. So Asuto Inamori and his classmates leave their families behind and move to Tokyo, because the deal is simple and brutal: win the Football Frontier, get the club back. Then comes Raimon Junior High and a first match against Seishou Academy, the team everyone already has penciled in as champion. No warmup, no easy opponents, just the best right away. And watching from the sidelines is a coach named Zhao Jinyun, who nobody can quite figure out. Asuto has Ryōhei Haizaki and Yuma Nosaka walking their own roads beside him, each carrying something different into this fight. Can three kids who lost their field actually take down the strongest team in Japan?
