Hakufu just wants a good fight. So when a girl shows up out of nowhere, practically a mirror image of her, the Nanyo High leader takes her on as a student without thinking twice. Then the next tournament between the school heads gets announced, and every fighter who sat out last time or hated how things ended is hungry for payback. Typical Hakufu: she's already fired up to throw down, and typical Hakufu: she's so scattered that her own pupil ends up taking her spot in the bracket instead. That's when the whole thing stops being about school pride. The tournament isn't the tournament everyone signed up for, and the girls are standing right in the middle of somebody else's plan to swallow the clans whole. Who set this trap, and who's going to walk into it first?
