In modern day Kanto, the strongest high schools settle their scores with fists and ancient souls. At Kyo Academy, Moutoku Sousou stays ice cold until the dragon inside him wakes up. At Nanyo, Hakufu Sonsaku, loud and reckless, can barely keep her own power in check. Somewhere in China, Shimei Ryomou gets her hands on a dragon orb that passes a wielder's strength to whoever holds it, and she plans to use it to save Hakufu from the thing sleeping in her blood. Then Moutoku stops being Moutoku. The Demon King's soul takes the wheel, and his ambition turns on everyone around him, allies included. Kyosho, Seito and Nanyo all want the orb. Nobody wants to share. Hakufu and the shy Seito leader Gentoku Ryuubi have history and plenty of reasons to distrust each other, yet standing alone against a possessed Moutoku is not an option anymore. Two dragons, one artifact, and a war of reincarnated warriors about to play out the same tragedy it always does. Can Hakufu drag her friend back from the monster wearing his face, or is fate going to write the same ending twice?
