Human Crossing
A boxer trains in a shabby gym, and one phone call drags his past back into the ring: the mother who walked out years ago wants to see him. Down the street a young lawyer pours everything into a case nobody else will touch, defending a mother with nothing. Across town a businessman stays late at the office again, and again, until something small cracks him open. None of them know each other. All of them are crossing the same city, heads down, going nowhere in particular. That's the trick of this show. Strangers pass like cars at an intersection, and you keep waiting for the collisions. Sometimes they come. A father shows up after years of nothing, and his grown daughter has to decide what to do with him. A man has to choose between the job that eats his evenings and the people waiting at home. Ordinary rooms, ordinary weather, the good and the ugly both, no heroes anywhere. So when a stranger bumps your shoulder on a crowded street, what exactly do you owe them?
