Tokyo in the early 2000s. Isobe puts on a skin-tight bodysuit, clocks in, and goes off to fight for Ganglion, a corporation that is very clearly evil. His assignments are ridiculous: scattering cedar pollen all over the city, or demolishing Mount Fuji. Then a hero named Hopeman shows up and beats him into the pavement. Every single time. No exceptions. Here is the twist. Isobe is not a villain in a grand story. He is a guy with a boss, a schedule, and no say in any of it. This is a workplace comedy wearing a monster-of-the-week costume, and the joke keeps landing on the poor soldier who has to file the paperwork after another loss. Between the absurd missions and the hero's fists, Isobe just tries to survive the dawn of the compliance era, when sudden rules and impossible quotas hit the people at the bottom hardest. So what does a man do when his job is meaningless, his enemy always wins, and quitting is not on the table?
