Haruka and Makoto have barely settled into Tokyo when university life throws its first curveball: an opening ceremony to prepare for. Makoto just wants to pick up souvenirs for his little brother and sister. Simple enough, right? Then a quick errand turns into something else entirely, and suddenly the two of them are wearing the Iwatobi mascot suit and stepping into a regional wrestling tournament. Here is the kicker. Back home, the rest of the Iwatobi and Samezuka swim clubs are gathered at a local festival, watching the whole thing live on a screen. Nobody warned Haruka and Makoto. Meanwhile, Ikuya and Hiyori are having their own quiet talk about what it feels like to trade the countryside for the city, its noise, its pace, its crowds. Old friends keep bumping into each other on those busy Tokyo streets, and something new is clearly starting. But with their hometown pride literally on the line in a mascot match, who is going to make it out of that ring with any dignity left?
