Fire Force
People are bursting into flames. Not metaphorically. One second someone is standing at a bus stop, the next they are a screaming pillar of fire with nothing human left inside. Tokyo calls them Infernals. Then it gets worse. The next generation keeps its mind while the fire bends to their will, and Shinra Kusakabe is one of them. He lights up his feet and rockets across the pavement, which is why everyone calls him Devil's Footprints. He joins Special Fire Force Company 8, a squad of pyrokinetics whose job is to put down the Infernals and let whatever is left of those people finally rest. He wants to be the hero who saves everyone. Company 8 is a mess. The other brigades hate them, the Infernals are showing up in stranger and stranger forms, and a group nobody can find keeps whispering that they know exactly why this is happening. Shinra has his own reason to listen: the same fire took his family twelve years ago, and he still has no idea how or why. Every answer he digs up pulls him deeper into a fight that is not just against monsters but against the people who are supposed to be on his side. So who is actually setting Tokyo alight?
