Dragon's Disciple

Long She Yanyi · 龙蛇演义
Action2022Xuni Ying YeRating 7,113+HD

Wang Chao can barely hold his own in a fight. He knows it, and the local toughs know it too. But when he sees someone getting pushed around, he steps in anyway, skinny arms and all. That stubborn streak is what catches the eye of Tang Zichen, a martial arts master who decides the kid is worth teaching. Then the training starts, and it is nothing like Wang Chao imagined. No secret techniques handed over in a single afternoon. Just stances held until his legs shake, endless repetition, and a teacher who talks about stopping violence instead of winning it. Wang Chao wants to protect people. Tang Zichen keeps asking him what that actually means. As word of his progress spreads, fighters come looking for him, some to test him, some to break him. Every bout forces Wang Chao to choose between proving himself and holding to the principles his teacher drilled into him. Can a frail kid who once couldn't throw a punch really carry an entire tradition on his back?
