Two kids, a brother and his little sister, are just messing around at home when something climbs out of their computer. Not a virus. Not a glitch. An egg. A real one, sitting there on the desk, and it hatches into a creature that has no business existing outside a screen. They feed it, hide it, keep it secret, and slowly stop thinking of it as a toy. Years later the digital world stops being a private little secret between two siblings. Other kids get pulled in, monsters show up in the middle of ordinary streets, and the line between what is real and what is data starts to blur for everyone. These children are not chosen heroes with a plan. They are just the ones who were there when it started. And whatever is waiting on the other side of that screen already knows they are coming. So who exactly opened the door first: the monster, or the kids?
