A monster called Corpse God was about to be destroyed, so it cast a spell, jumped to Earth, and woke up in the body of a Japanese guy named Polka Shinoyama. Except the monster was never really a monster. Just a unlucky necromancer. And Polka was not some ordinary kid either, but the victim of a hit that already succeeded. Now Polka runs a little divination cabinet, and after he uses his magic out in the open, people who want to prove he is Corpse God start circling. Then someone frames him and his friends for killing an employee of the man protecting them. His friend Takumi gets grabbed by his old boss Kuon Higuro, so Polka sends Misaki, the one ally he trusts most, to pull him out. The deeper they go, the more these separate messes turn out to be tied together. Polka has to watch every step to survive this maze of traps. And what if one of the enemies closing in is not new at all?
