Sooha has spent her whole life hiding what she can do, because being different in her town meant being called a monster. When her childhood friend died, everyone blamed her, so she transferred to Decelis Academy. It is a night school, and the rumor is simple: vampires and werewolves cannot get in. Finally, a place where she can breathe. Then she meets Heli. He finds out her secret and does not run. Instead he brings her to his seven friends: Jaan, Jino, Shion, Jakah, Noa, and Solon. Each one has his own strange power, and each one watches her a little too closely. They would do anything she asks. None of them can explain why. A murder shakes the city, and people whisper vampire. The boys close ranks around Sooha, but the old war between clans pulls her in anyway. Sooha is starting to notice things about herself that she never wanted to see, and the boys' past is a fog only she can clear. What is waiting for her at the Blood Altar when the full moon rises?
