Episode 10 · Coiling Dragon

Coiling Dragon

A boy from Wushan Town walks into the crumbling house his family once owned. Dust everywhere. Linley Baruch digs through the junk and finds a ring. It looks cheap, forgettable, the kind of thing you'd toss in a drawer. He puts it on anyway. That's when everything goes sideways: a spirit lives inside it, Delia Covet, and she doesn't hand out free favors. Now he's stuck on a path he never asked for, training to become a mage on a continent crawling with monsters and sorcery. Every fight nearly kills him. Every breakthrough costs him something. He's a fallen noble's kid with no money and no name, and yet he keeps getting back up, again and again, clawing his way toward real power. So what exactly does the ring want from him in return?
