Chainsaw Man
Denji just wants a normal life. Good food, a girl who likes him, maybe a bed that isn't the floor. Instead he's stuck killing devils with his pet Pochita, a chainsaw devil, and every coin he earns goes straight to the yakuza to pay off his dead father's debt. Then the yakuza sell him out. Denji dies in a bloody mess, and everything he wanted dies with him. Except Pochita doesn't let go. The old contract between them kicks in, and the devil merges with Denji's corpse, replacing his heart and turning him into something new: a hybrid who can pull chainsaws out of his own arms and head. The Public Safety Bureau notices fast. Their elite hunter Makima offers him a deal. He lives, he hunts devils for them, and he obeys. So now Denji slices his way through monsters, chasing the same simple dream he had before, and Makima keeps dangling it just close enough to keep him fighting. Does he even know what he's really signing up for?
