Amon Saga

Amon has one thing on his mind: the man who killed his mother. That hunt drags him straight into the empire's army, where he keeps his head down and waits for his shot at the Emperor. Then he stumbles onto a princess locked in a cell. Lichia isn't there by accident. She's bait, held so the Emperor can squeeze a map out of his rival King Darai-Sem, and the whole scheme stinks of something bigger. Now Amon has two roads in front of him. Stick with the revenge he has carried for years. Or throw in with a girl he barely knows and a kingdom that's already half lost. Somewhere along the way he picks up companions worth bleeding for, and something softer than vengeance starts growing where he didn't plan for it. He came for one death. Can he walk away from it to save a life instead?
