The world runs on information now, and the Hacka Dolls are how people survive it. Tap the app and an android shows up at your door, scans your taste, and tells you what to read, watch, or buy. Government offices use them. Pro athletes use them. They always get it right. Then the factory slips. Three units roll off the line defective: one who cannot sit still, one obsessed with her own reflection, one who would rather nap than work. Nobody wants them, so they get shipped down to Earth with a vague order to help humanity however they can. Their first assignments involve pushing a fujoshi to actually sell her doujinshi at Comiket and dragging the trio onto a stage as an idol group. They are terrible at this. They also mean every second of it, and once these three latch onto a person they refuse to let go. So what happens when the worst Hacka Dolls alive care more about your problem than the perfect ones ever did?
