Aim for the Ace!: Another Match
Hiromi Oka was just a girl with a racket when Jin Munakata, the coach they called a demon, took her apart and rebuilt her into a champion. Three years later she's the pride of Nishi High, and the national title is barely in the trophy case before Japan picks her to play in New York. Then Munakata's old illness comes back and puts him in a hospital bed. No warning, no last speech, nothing. So there she is, third year, most of her friends already graduated and scattered into colleges, Reika Ryuzaki and the rest of the team packing their bags for America while their coach sits in a hospital room. The man who taught her everything can't even watch. Hiromi has to walk onto foreign courts alone, against players who have never heard of Nishi High, and the news from Japan is not going to get better. Everyone keeps telling her to play the way he taught her. Fine. But what does that even mean when the person who taught her isn't there?
