Accel World: Infinite∞Burst

Kuroyukihime once pulled Haruyuki into Brain Burst, an app that speeds up your thoughts until the world around you basically freezes. He was nobody. Now he's a name everyone in the Accelerated World knows, and he's been chasing her dream of hitting level ten ever since. Simple enough. Then a storm tears through a territory battle, Nega Nebulus gets booted from the program mid-fight, and security cameras start glitching all over Tokyo. Kuroyukihime connects the dots fast: this isn't a normal bug. Something dark is spreading, district by district, swallowing whole areas where anyone who logs in just drops out of the Accelerated World. No warning, no way back. To find out what this thing is and how to kill it, the Black Legion has to do the one thing Burst Linkers hate: team up. Even with Yuniko Kozuki on their side, that's a lot of old grudges to bury while an anomaly eats the city. Haruyuki's the famous one now, but fame doesn't help when the game itself is breaking. So who's behind the darkness, and what happens to everyone still logged in when it finally reaches them?
