Ichirou Kuga draws shoujo manga the old way, pen on paper, and he is drowning. Deadlines stack up, his assistants quit, and the money from his late father's apartment building barely covers food for his two little siblings. Then his editor sends a new assistant. Shiori Goshiki works fast, fixes pages he was ready to give up on, and for one bright moment the panic stops. Then she tells him she is a princess of a people who came down from a fallen star. And because of some strange accident between them, she says they are engaged now. So Ichirou has to hit his deadlines, feed his family, and figure out what this girl actually is, while she stands in his workspace acting like the engagement is a done deal. Does he even get a say in any of it?
