Academy City runs on science so advanced it looks like magic, and its clean streets are kept clean by people nobody talks about. What they don't know is that every step is feeding into something much worse, a trap built patiently around their habits, their loyalties, the exact way they rely on each other. By the time anyone notices, the damage may already be done. Trust is the one thing these women can't replace, and someone out there knows it. When the shooting starts and the city's darkness closes in, who among them will still be standing at the other's back?
