Unnamed Memory
A witch's curse stole Oscar's future before he was old enough to understand what that meant. No woman can bear his child. Fifteen years of dead ends later, the prince hears about a different witch and climbs the Azure Tower, a death trap that has chewed up every challenger for decades. He walks out the top without a scratch. Waiting there is Tinasha, hundreds of years old and looking like a girl in her late teens. She takes one look at his problem and sees straight through it. Lifting the curse? Close to impossible. Finding him a woman strong enough to survive it? That she can do. Oscar glances at the witch in front of him and asks her to marry him. Shot down instantly. But he keeps pushing until she agrees to something strange: she leaves her tower and lives with him for a year. Word gets out that the Witch of the Azure Moon has stepped into the world again, and old faces start crawling out of the woodwork. A year is not much time to break a spell or talk a witch into a wedding. So what happens when the year runs out and she walks away?
