Episode 1 · Ubel Blatt

Ubel Blatt

Fourteen sacred spears went to the heroes who swore to hold the empire's border. The tale says three died on the road and four turned traitor and were cut down for it. The ones who came home got statues, titles, the whole empire calling them the Seven Heroes. Twenty years on, a civil war flares at the border, led by the four traitors history swears are dead. Only a half-elf with a scar over one eye walks straight past all of that. His name is Köinzell. He doesn't care about the war or the spears. He wants the Seven Heroes, one by one, and he has allies now who want the same thing. Nobody in the empire knows what he really is, or what they did to him before he came back. So who is the villain here: the heroes everyone bows to, or the boy with the scar?
