The Eminence in Shadow
In his own world, Minoru trained like a maniac and still knew he would never punch out a nuclear bomb. So he hid it. Average student by day, crowbar in hand at night, hunting biker gangs in the dark. Then a truck came. As he lay there, he thought about how useless all that training really was against plain human limits. He woke up as Cid, second son of a noble family in a place where magic is normal. Everything he ever wanted was suddenly possible. So he made up a villain, the Cult of Diablos, and built a secret crew called Shadow Garden to fight it, just for fun. Problem is, the cult is real. His made up story keeps turning out true, and the group he formed to play pretend gets bigger and more serious every day. Cid still treats it like a game. How long can someone stay in the shadows when the whole world starts playing along?
