The Corgi and the Samurai

Tono to Inu · 殿と犬
Slice of Life2024OLMRating 6,70+HD

The wars are over. A lord who never lost a battle now sits in a run-down tenement, broke and with nothing left to command. His glory days are a memory nobody bothers to bring up. Then he spots a dog. Short legs, funny build, the kind of creature you almost feel sorry for. He takes it in out of pity. That pity does not last long, because the dog has other plans: it chews things, causes mess, and generally refuses to act like a noble companion should. Bit by bit, this small troublemaker drags the old warrior out of his gloom. Laughter creeps back into a life that had gone quiet. But can a man who once stood above everyone truly settle for a tiny room and a ridiculous pet?
