Solo Leveling
Ten years ago, gates started opening all over the world. Behind them: dungeons full of monsters that bullets and tanks could do nothing about. The only way to shut a gate for good is to kill the boss inside before it breaks out, and only hunters, people who woke up with powers, can pull that off. The powers are all over the place, though. Some hunters can level a building. Others can barely light a candle. Sung Jin-Woo is an E-rank. The weakest hunter alive, people call him, and they are not wrong. He cannot beat even the smallest monster, so he tags along with bigger groups and picks up scraps while they do the killing. The money is terrible. His gear is worse. He keeps going anyway, because his mother is in a coma and the hospital bills never stop coming. Then one day his team clears a low-rank dungeon and finds something odd: another dungeon, tucked inside the one they already finished. They go in. What waits down there is not the usual. Jin-Woo walks out of it alive, and after that a strange window appears in front of his eyes, one nobody else can see, offering him a chance to get stronger. It does not say who is paying for that. So what exactly did he agree to back there?
