Silver Fang

Ginga Nagareboshi Gin · 銀牙　流れ星銀
ActionAdventureDrama1986Toei AnimationRating 8,013+HD

Gin is a brindle Akita, striped like a tiger, and everyone figures he'll grow into a fine bear-hunting dog. Then he watches a monster tear his father apart. The bear is Akakabuto, a man-eater with a taste for the village, and from that day the puppy who was never meant to lead gets picked to finish what his father started. So he leaves. Across Japan, one dog at a time, Gin builds something no one has ever put together before: an army of strays, pets and fighters willing to stand against a creature that has killed every hunter sent after it. And Akakabuto isn't waiting alone either. He's gathering his own allies in the mountains, and the war that's coming will decide who gets to keep living in that valley. Gin is young. The dogs he's recruiting are older, scarred, and some of them want nothing to do with a pup giving orders. Can he hold them together long enough to reach Akakabuto, or will the bear pick them off one by one before the fight even starts?
