Chicago is a bad town for anyone with something to lose, which makes it the perfect office for a man like Bean Bandit. He drives. Fast. If you need a package moved or a passenger smuggled past the cops, he names his price, you pay it, and the Roadbuster leaves everyone else eating exhaust. Robbers in the back seat, a bag of stolen cash bouncing around, sirens somewhere behind: just another Tuesday. Then a job looks simple. Escort a little girl named Chelsea home. Easy money, right up until Bean figures out the whole thing is a setup, and the ones holding the leash are the same clients who just hung a kidnapping charge around his neck. Semmerling and Carrie aren't running from him. They're using him, and Chelsea's father, and the ransom, and every mile of road between here and the border. Now it's Bean and Rally against a frame job, a kid who isn't supposed to be in his car, and a city that would love to see him go down. He can outdrive almost anybody. But can he outdrive a lie he never saw coming?
