Subaru just helped take down the demon Wolgarm and saved Irlam village, so things have finally calmed down a bit. He is not about to sit still, though. There is a date with Emilia to plan, and he needs the perfect spot. He sneaks around the village like some kind of secret agent on a mission. It takes Petra and the other kids about five seconds to see right through him and blow his cover. Still, the kids help him find a great location, and everything is ready. Then the cold hits. It rolls over Roswaal's mansion out of nowhere, and the date gets pushed back. By morning it is even worse, freezing enough that a ruined date stops being the real problem. Something is causing this, and Subaru has to figure out what before it gets out of hand. What is waiting for him out there in the snow, and what happens to a date that keeps getting buried?
