Episode 1 · Phantom: The Animation

Phantom: The Animation

A quiet walk at night. That's all it was supposed to be. Then Zwei sees a man gunned down in the street, and the bullet meant for him comes from a sniper perched somewhere above. He dodges it. Barely. The shooter turns out to be a young girl named Ein, and that small piece of luck is the last thing that goes right for him. Men drag him away, and when he wakes up, his old life is gone. Wiped from his head like it never happened. He only gets to keep breathing because he agrees to one thing: train beside Ein and learn to kill the way she does. So now he works for the same people who erased him, in a world of contracts and silenced guns, sharing a roof with the girl who almost put a bullet through him. He plays along. He learns the craft. But every job he takes is also a step toward figuring out how to slip out of this life and become the person he used to be, even if he can't quite remember who that was. Can you walk away from killers who already taught you everything they know?
