Princess Sally is bored out of her mind in a tiny castle she has known her whole life. She wants out. Adventure, anything but the same old village. Then demons swarm the kingdom and start cutting people down, and a lone traveler named Mikoto wipes them out with a strange power called the Peach Eye. That attack should have been the end of her plans. Instead it pushes her harder, and somewhere along the road she finds out she carries the same peach mark, strong enough to cut down powerful oni like nothing. But Sally wants humans, demihumans and oni to just live side by side. Mikoto, who has mastered the power far better than she has, wants every last oni dead, and he is not interested in mercy. Their paths keep crossing. Every meeting puts them closer to a choice between peace and total annihilation. What happens when the one person who shares your power is the one person you can never agree with?
