Art you don't just look at, you feel on your skin. Perception Art floods every sense at once, and Kazuya Yamanashi grew up inside it, the son of the two people who invented the whole thing. Both of them are gone now. He's a first year at Eisen High, and he wants to be the best there's ever been at it. Except that's only half the reason he enrolled. His old childhood friend Kyou is a third year here, and the two of them haven't spoken in years. Something broke between them, and Kazuya came to fix it. Different departments, different floors, barely a reason to cross paths. Then the school pairs them up for the Staircaser, the one competition that decides who represents Eisen for an entire year. Together. On the same team. They can't even hold a normal conversation, and now everything rides on whether they can build something side by side. Can two people who stopped trusting each other make art that other people are supposed to feel?
