She has no idea who he is. Then the black mist rolls in and turns people to stone. Monsters called oni come with it, and only the onmyoji, sorcerers who fight in magical shikigami armor, can stand against them. Takeru finds out he can transform and take hits the oni deal out. It is not enough. He and Tsukimiya die, and he wakes up back in Denji Heian-kyo, two weeks before the mist ever shows. Now he has one goal: become an onmyoji and keep her alive this time.
