One Room

Slice of Life2017Typhoon GraphicsRating 5,613+HD

A girl knocks on a stranger's door with a plate of noodles, just to be polite. Yui has barely unpacked, and the guy next door turns out to study at the university she's desperate to get into. So she asks him to tutor her. Simple enough, right up until the walls start to feel thin. Then there's Natsuki, who hops on a train to Tokyo to crash with her big brother, mostly because she can. And somewhere across the city, Moka, chasing a music career, runs into the childhood friend she hasn't seen in years. He's trying to write a novel. She's trying to sing. Neither one says what they actually mean. Three apartments. Three girls. Nobody knows the others exist. But pull back far enough and the same quiet pull is dragging all of them toward the same rooms, the same people, the same tiny moments that change everything. Is it coincidence, or was someone always going to knock on that door?
