Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: Tonari no Gokudou-kun · となりの怪物くん

ComedyRomance2013Brain's BaseRating 7,113+HD

A princess who would trade her crown for a box of wagashi sits buried in English textbooks. Poor Chizuru. To keep her nose in the grammar, the Shogun outlaws every last sweet in Edo. No candy. No manju. The whole town pays for one girl's vocabulary drill. Then a street boss named Haru crashes into the picture, all mood swings and zero manners, and Shizuku, the woman everyone calls Ane-san, only wants to hand him a message about a new temple school. One accidental meeting later and the two of them are smitten. Their gangs are not. Someone in the shadows would rather see this romance dead than let the Mizutani and Yoshida houses join hands. Can two rival bosses sneak a love story past an entire city that wants it stopped?
