The year is 20XX. Netto Hikari is starting fifth grade, and his gift is a custom net navi named Rockman. Small guy. Way more responsible than his new operator, honestly. They click fast, best friends inside a PET, that little personal terminal everyone carries around. Kids and grown ups alike run Net Battles, pitting their navis against each other just to see who's better. Then the friendly sparring stops being the point. Something else is moving through the network, and it does not care about bragging rights. Netto and Rockman have to fight for real now, a kid and his tiny partner against a threat that keeps growing. Can a fifth grader and a navi the size of your thumb actually hold the line?
