Jungle Emperor Leo

A music box, still ticking somewhere in the wreckage of a downed plane. That's what pulls Leo's newborn cubs, Lune and Lukio, toward the humans. Curious little things, ears perked, sniffing at a species their father has every reason to distrust. Then the jungle starts to rot. A virus tears through the animals, dropping them one by one, and while Leo is watching his home die, a treasure hunter named Ham Egg is marching a crew of rough men straight through it. He wants the Moonlight Stones, those legendary rocks supposedly powerful enough to end the world's energy crisis, and he will bulldoze anything in his path to get them. Dr. Moustache and Lemonade, two humans with ridiculous names and stubborn hearts, try to hold him back. The cure arrives just in time. The destruction doesn't stop. Now Leo has to climb Mt. Moon, a trek nobody comes back from, with the stones waiting at the top and Ham Egg close behind. Can a lion who just watched his jungle nearly die really trust the same species that poisoned it?
