Mysterious Joker doesn't just lift valuables. He's a showman, a miracle worker who vanishes from a locked room before the cops even blink. His partner Hachi rides along, and the man can cook a proper meal over a campfire while the getaway car is still running. Together they chase rumors of treasure across every country on the map. It looks like the usual game of cat and mouse: dodge the police, crack the trap, disappear. Then the rumors stop being rumors. Word spreads about the Timeslip Treasure, the one prize that sends every rival thief scrambling at once. The cops aren't the only ones setting snares now. Old enemies want the same thing. Competitions turn nasty, and the rules keep shifting right when Joker thinks he has them figured out. So the question isn't whether he can steal the Timeslip Treasure. It's what happens when a thief who's spent his whole life running finally reaches the one thing he can't simply grab and walk away from.
