Étoile Vio School exists for one reason: to turn idol hopefuls into real stars. The students here even have a name for themselves, I-Chu, little eggs waiting to hatch. Then opening day arrives, and the principal steps up to welcome everyone. He's a bear. A actual bear gives the speech, and nobody explains why. So the boys get to work. Dance drills, voice training, the usual grind, but the question hanging over all of it is bigger than any lesson: what is an idol, really? Their teacher and producer, the woman guiding them, pushes each one to grow and find his own answer. Some chase the spotlight. Some just want to stand on stage with the others. Every boy has his own reason, and none of them shine the same way. They stumble, they argue, they improve a little at a time. But when the training ends and the lights come up, which of them will actually hatch, and which will still be waiting in the shell?
